These signs were found on the inside of the sleeping car roomette, bedroom drawing room, etc.  Each sleeping space had a "shoe locker", designed for the traveler to place their shoes in when retiring for the evening. The Porter or Attendant would obtain the shoes from the hallway shoe locker door, polish them and then return them for the next morning's use. A real piece of Americana.
Each purchase includes 2 of these new aluminum signs. If the adhesive paper is removed you can attach them to any smooth, dry surface. They are approximately 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches and quite thin.
