Description
This is a listing for a Vintage Original Metal Railroad Train or Mining Plaque Sign. The name on it is C. T. Bardsley. This sign has 1 hole for mounting. This appears to be brass. Any other color seen on it is just reflection of my camera and the surroundings. My clients purchased this at a Railroad Wrecking Yard back in the 60's. My research on Ancestry shows a Clarence Thomas Bardsley who in 1917 lived in Railroad Flat in Calaveras, California. At that time, it says he was a carpenter for the Mohawk Mining Company in Railroad Flat. According to Alexa C.T. Bardsley was a Fireman for the Virginia & Truckee Railroad in 1912. This may or may not be this C.T. Bardsley, no guarantees are given.
This measures approximately 11 1/2" long x 1 1/2" wide. Please look at the pictures for the best view of the item as they are part of the description. Please ask any questions before bidding.
