DESCRIPTION
1. Pneumatic operated valve holder designed for 14mm and 18mm diameter spark plug holes, commonly found on all LS engine platforms.
2. The other end is a 1/4" female NPT which can easily be connected to air hose quick connect fittings. 14mm is the standard spark plug size for most all domestic and foreign vehicles. Actual part may vary from picture.
3. This tool is used when installing valve springs while the cylinder head is installed on the engine.
4. Just be sure to maintain the air pressure within the cylinder while performing the spring change.
5. Simply place the cylinder you are working on at top dead center, thread the tool into the spark plug hole, and fill the cylinder with compressed air.
6. This tool allows the combustion chamber/cylinder to be filled with compressed air, which holds the valve closed while the valve spring is exchanged.
Material :
Made of heavy duty 3/16 thick steel plate and B7 grade hardware with strong durability.
Easy Installation:
When you installing screws, using lubricating oil can have a better effect.
Be sure to maintain the air pressure within the cylinder!
Fitment:
This tool kit Fits For cathedral port LS cylinder heads. Like: LS1, LS6, LS2, LQ4, LQ9, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and all the other LS cathedral port variations.  Universal for LS Engine!!
(For Example: It will work on any LS engine for Firebird, for Silverado, for Camaro, for GTO, forTrans am, for Corvette, for CTSV, for Sierra, for Tahoe, for Suburban, for Pontiac G8 GT and more. )
