You've just installed your cylinder head but VTEC no longer kicks in? One possible cause is that you might have either lost or misplaced these two items. They are necessary for VTEC operation. The VTEC dowel pin and o-ring are found under the "middle" camshaft cap. It is also a good idea to replace these parts whenever you replace your camshafts.
